where it all began
with hard work, perseverance and a little bit of luck, anything is possible
We genuinely believe this and have embarked on a journey with an ever changing path and a destination yet to be revealed.
Like most rewarding adventures there will be highs, lows, surprises and disappointments, but when all is said and done we will have created a legacy that makes a difference.
when the going gets tough
Like many of the best ideas, Unwind was conceived while sharing some beers and reminiscing about our Himalayan expedition some 12 months ago.
It was this cycle adventure, taking us over the Manali – Leh Highway (the second highest road in the world), that strengthened the bond between us and set the wheels in motion for the Unwind concept.
Over 8 days, 500km and 38,000ft of elevation we reached the remote Himalayan city of Leh, having raised over £10,000 for a local Buddhist school. More rewarding than reaching the 5,300m pass was to see firsthand the impact the money raised had made on the lives of the children that stay at the school, and the legacy which would be left.
From this moment, we knew that any new challenge which we undertook had to have a greater purpose and support a cause other than our own.
