Toast Ale is a certified B-Corp based in London, founded by Tristram Stuart author and campaigner on the environmental and social impacts of food production, who brew beer with surplus bread in a bid to reduce food wastage. With nearly half of all bread produced in the UK being thrown away Toast Ale’s aim is to redistribute surplus bread which would otherwise go to waste back into the food chain in the form of great quality beer. Toast Ale have pledged that their profits will go to the charity Feedback, which aims to halve food waste by 2025 creating a wider impact on food waste than Toast Ale can manage alone.

Puddingstone Distillery is the first gin distillery in Hertfordshire, based in Tring and run by Ben and Kate Marston.

Their journey since 2014 has gone from buying two books to being award winning members of the Gin Guild boasting three fantastic core gins and limited and seasonal editions.

Puddingstone Distillery have partnered with Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust as their main charity, and during the summer months, £2 of each bottle of Campfire Special Edition No 1 Gin is donated to the Trust.

Campfire Gin

Pitching camp on the boundary between classic and contemporary styles ten botanicals including rooibos, sweet, fresh orange, hazelnut and piney juniper are distilled with the finest UK wheat spirit. Campfire London Dry Gin has a citrus nose and juniper palette which yields to a rich fruity middle and sweet nutty end that builds, sip, after sip, after sip.

Navy Strength Gin

With a greater emphasis on the juniper profile and a higher botanical loading to offset the 57% strength, this gin can only be described as surprisingly smooth.

Campfire Cask Aged Gin

Each batch of our Campfire Cask Aged Gin is shaped by the history of the wood that surrounds it, taking on a unique profile every time.

Based on the same ten botanicals as Campfire London Dry Gin the Cask Aged is rested for 22 days in American oak ex-bourbon casks gaining a golden hue and additional vanilla, caramel and soft bourbon notes.

Pud Pud

This is a winter seasonal using the finest Macedonian juniper, Spanish orange peel and Hertfordshire Christmas puddings, produced by the highly acclaimed Victoria Bakery.

One ‘sage’ Gin has an overall aromatic nose of sweet and dry citrus, fresh sage and juniper, leading to multiple layers of citrus and spice and a warm, long, savoury gin.

Twisting Spirits was launched in 2017 and has since then created distinctive and unusual craft gins.

This relatively new small batch distillery, run by husband and wife team, produces their gin using hot and cold distillation techniques to deliver massive bursts of flavour.

Two separately produced distillations are twisted together to create the finished gins; they are literally Twisting Spirits.

Kaffir Lime & Lemongrass

The leaves are cold distilled to preserve the delicate crisp bergamot citrus, floral hints and delicious earthy high tea flavours.

That’s it, that’s Douglas-Fir Gin and a rather odd lunch! The flavour profile can change from batch to batch since all Douglas Fir trees are genetically unique, altering their taste profile tree to tree.

Mermaid Gin

A refreshing, smooth and slightly sweet peppery gin with hints of citrus. Created with botanicals including Juniper Berries, rock samphire that is hand-picked from the Island’s chalk cliffs and Boadicea hops grown at the famous Ventnor Botanic Garden.

HMS Victory Navy Strength Gin

In partnership with The National Museum of the Royal Navy, a percentage of the sales go towards the ongoing restoration of this famous ship. A rich and warming peppery gin.

Rock Sea Vodka

Inspired by the Isle of Wight’s fresh sea air, and that hint of saltiness on your lips after a day on the water. With a smooth flavour it makes a great foundation for cocktails.

HMS Victory Navy Strength Dark Rum

In partnership with The National Museum of the Royal Navy. A fine blend of aged demerara rum from Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica. Reminiscent of the taste of traditional ‘Rum Tots’ issued on board naval ships. The rum has been refined and rested in oak barrels using an oak stave from HMS Victory herself, adding an extra depth of character from the Royal Navy’s most illustrious warship.

Farr Brew was founded for one reason, and one reason only, to make great tasting beer and bring it to the public. Pale

Combining premium malt hopped with Sovereign and Cascade varieties to create a powerful pale packed full of tropical and citrus flavours with a fine crisp bitter finish, a perfect combination of complexity and balance.

Bitter

Pale, crystal and chocolate malts combine with Sovereign hops to create this beautifully dark traditional bitter. It’s a perfectly balanced beer with a hint of caramel; very moreish and a true session ale.

Golden

A dark, golden ale which is crafted to be light, refreshing and highly quaffable. Sovereign and WGV hops are delicately blended with carefully selected grains; producing a golden ale with a well rounded, but not overpowering hoppiness. Perfect for summer drinking or an autumnal evening.
